GarageBook — workshop management for Indian garages. Last updated 11 August 2026.
These terms govern your use of the GarageBook mobile app and web dashboard (together, “GarageBook”), operated by Zymbia Interactive Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using GarageBook you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
GarageBook is a business tool for garages and workshops. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the garage you register. It is not intended for personal or household use, and it is not directed at children.
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure, and for everything done under your garage’s account — including by staff members you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
One account represents one garage. You may add staff users; each is bound by these terms.
The records you enter — customers, vehicles, job cards, parts, invoices, photos and diagnostics — belong to your garage. We process them on your behalf to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the data you enter about your customers: for having the right to record it, for its accuracy, and for using it lawfully — including when you send a customer a WhatsApp message or a report through GarageBook. You must not upload unlawful content or anyone else’s data that you have no right to hold.
GarageBook is sold as an annual subscription, with optional paid add-on modules. A limited number of job cards can be created before a subscription is required. The price, the billing period and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase, and that is the price that applies to your order.
Subscriptions renew for a further term unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of taxes as shown at checkout. Except where the law or the relevant store’s policy requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current term.
If a subscription lapses, your data is not deleted — access to paid features is suspended until the subscription is renewed.
Diagnostic results are advisory. They are an aid to a qualified mechanic’s judgement, not a substitute for it.
The OBD module reads fault codes and sensor data from a vehicle’s electronic control units and produces a report. Vehicle coverage varies by make, model, model year and the condition of the vehicle’s own electronics. Codes and descriptions may be incomplete, may not apply to a particular variant, and a scan can fail or return nothing for reasons outside our control. You must verify findings with your own inspection before advising a customer, quoting for work, or carrying it out.
Clearing fault codes changes the vehicle. Erasing codes removes stored diagnostic information and resets readiness monitors, which can affect later diagnosis and emissions testing. Only clear codes when you have understood the fault and have the vehicle owner’s agreement. Do not run scans or clear codes on a moving vehicle.
Diagnostics depend on third-party OBD hardware that we do not supply and a Bluetooth connection to it. We are not responsible for that hardware, and we do not warrant that any particular vehicle is supported.
We aim to keep GarageBook available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, network conditions and third-party outages can interrupt it. The mobile app is designed to keep working offline and to sync when a connection returns; sync timing is not guaranteed.
We may change, add or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give reasonable notice.
GarageBook is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss or corruption of data; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using GarageBook at any time and can request deletion of your account and data at thegaragebook.com/delete_data. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; deletion and retention are handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms and will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by message. Continuing to use GarageBook after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurgaon, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
